The role:

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner (TPO) to join our Data Platform team – a team under development that is building Hubexo’s new shared data platform. As TPO, you will play a central role in shaping and driving the development of the platform, where technology, business needs, and strategy converge. You will act as the bridge between product, technology, and data-driven teams across the organization.

You will report to the VP Product Technology and be based in our Stockholm office.

As Technical Product Owner, you will:

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the data platform.

  Work closely with architects, developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to transform needs into clear requirements.

• Ensure that the data platform enables robust, secure, and scalable solutions that support Hubexo’s entire product portfolio.

  Create, prioritize, and communicate the backlog, and drive deliveries within an agile team.

• Be responsible for functional and non-functional requirements in areas such as data quality, data security, access control, and performance.

• Identify opportunities for improvements and new initiatives related to data-driven insights and products.

  Act as the link between business and technology, translating complex technical concepts into clear decision-making material.

About you:

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Project Manager, or similar role in data- or platform-related areas.

• A technical background with strong understanding of modern data platforms, cloud technology (preferably AWS), and data pipelines.

• Hands-on experience working closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and Analysts, with accountability for both strategy and operational delivery.

• Experience with tools and environments such as Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, SQL, and Python – or similar.

• Strong knowledge of data security, access control, data governance, and compliance.

• Communicative, organized, and solution-oriented, with the ability to align stakeholders across the organization.

• Fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English.

As a person, you are solution-oriented and enjoy taking ownership, while also collaborating easily within teams. You are analytical and structured, allowing you to quickly understand complex technical challenges and identify effective, long-term solutions.
