The role:

As a Senior Lowcode Developer, you will be a key driver in enhancing our company's operational efficiency. Your primary purpose is to lead the design and development of our core workflow and collaboration systems, leveraging the Mendix low-code platform to build intuitive, powerful, and seamlessly integrated applications. You will serve as a technical authority on Mendix development, guiding UI/UX designers, mentoring other developers, and collaborating across the organization to deliver solutions that are global, scalable, secure, and perfectly aligned with the needs of our internal teams.

This is what you’ll be doing:

• Lead the end-to-end design and development of intuitive applications on the Mendix low-code platform.
• Develop custom modules, widgets, and logic using microflows to support complex internal operations and enhance user interactions.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Architect and implement robust integrations with existing internal systems and services using APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
• Champion application performance, scalability, and security, implementing best practices and conducting rigorous code and logic reviews.
• Mentor other developers by reviewing application logic, microflows, and custom components, fostering a culture of high-quality development.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, contributing to the establishment of our Mendix development standards and best practices.
• Actively engage with stakeholders, product owners, and internal system owners to align on requirements and ensure seamless cross-team integration.

About you:

• Deep understanding of the Mendix platform, including domain modeling, microflows, and application architecture.
• Proven experience integrating Mendix applications with other systems using REST APIs and web services.
• Proficiency with frontend web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for custom styling and functionality.
• Experience designing and advising on domain models that support complex application logic and integration requirements.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile team environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
