Payroll Adminstrator

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for all Swedish entities (approx. 350 employees). The role will play a critical part in harmonizing payroll processes, supporting our SaaS transformation, and aligning Swedish compensation and benefits structures with global frameworks — while maintaining a strong local compliance and employee experience focus.

- Managing and executing end-to-end payroll processing for all Swedish employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Acting as primary contact for all payroll-related questions from employees, HRBPs, and finance.
- Ensuring compliance with Swedish tax, pension, social insurance, and labor law requirements.
- Collaborating with our external payroll vendor to continuously improve accuracy, data flow, and automation.
- Supporting the global payroll transformation by documenting processes, implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and contributing to harmonization projects.
- Partnering with Finance on reconciliation, audits, and monthly reporting.
- Maintaining and updating employee data in HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., Dayforce or equivalent).
- Supporting Compensation & Benefits activities in Sweden, including salary reviews, benchmarking, and benefit administration.
- Contributing to People & Culture projects — especially those improving employee experience, data quality, and operational efficiency.
About you:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing payroll in Sweden (multi-site or multi-entity environment preferred).
- Previous exposure to Compensation & Benefits frameworks — particularly salary reviews, benchmarking, and benefits administration.
- Solid understanding of Swedish tax legislation, pensions, collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), and employment law, and understanding of the coming Pay Transparency Directive
- Experience collaborating with external payroll providers and integrating payroll with HRIS/Finance systems, and pension partners & administrators
- Experience in a SaaS, tech, or international environment is an advantage.
- Proficient in English and Swedish (spoken and written).
- Experience with Hogia’s payroll system is an advantage
